The first one was supposed to be the spider cavern, but I guess it became just a generic fantasy-swamp-speedpaint.. The other one was a study and also a gift for my mother for Christmas.

Skyrim has been fun but as soon as my vacation ends its time to start working again ;)

Here are some studies (all from photoreference) I managed to do within the week, and once again I came to the conclusion that it is really useful... Damn those colors, really hard to get them right but I guess it's just a matter of practice.

Hello, first time posting here. I have tried to catch up with everyone on the weekly themes, but time flows a bit too fast for me, who joined the party on week theme #4. Anyway, here's my version of the fishfruit, and something I'm working on my own right now; a deep sea cruiser designed to look like a giant sea turtle! Any critics are welcome, since I'm not still a newbie.

And Vablo, you're drawing skills are so OP. :)

Weekly Theme #6: Devious Pale Prostitute & #7: Chamber of Embalmed Spiders

Hello everyone. Trying to catch the "Weekly Theme"-train which is moving forward in quite a fast pace. First a couple of enviro practices, and after that some harem-kinda girl interpretation + a narrative picture of it, the waist is too wide I think in the sketches... Also some doodling for the Spider Chamber, this seems like a corridor or something, probably going to work more on that.

Comments and critique are very welcome as always. :)

unfortunately, I haven't managed to finish anything related to the themes, so here are a few other things I've done on my time. The fish-thingy is based on instructions from Chuck Lukacs' Fantasy Genesis book. The kitty is just a kitty (speedpaint).

Weekly Theme #4: Waveleaper & #5: Magic User VS Warrior

Something for the two themes and also studies/sketches/whatnot. I think I will try to push the Mage VS Warrior- thingie to a final image, feel free to comment and critique! :)

Frozen Alien Fortress

Here is my Frozen Alien Fortress. Wanted it to look desolate and epic. To be honest, I'm not really that happy about it. I worked on it for way too long and kinda lost my original idea. Please, rip it apart and critisize! I want to learn from it :)

Weekly Theme #2: Frozen Alien Fortress

Ugh, three attempts at the theme + a random chainsaw alien space marine whatever. I did all these with Photoshop and in the character I tried Feng Zhu's technique of not using pen pressure to control opacity at all. It was actually pretty fun, though maybe a little slower when used to using pressure...

By the way, if someone has a nice idea for this week's theme feel free to change it, creature it seems to be... :) Have a good week everyone!
